Marcellus Shale Documentary Project opens

Public forum, October 25, 2012, 6-8 p.m.  A public forum and artist talk has been scheduled for October 25 from 6:00 – 8:00pm at the Melwood Screening Room, adjacent to the galleries where the photos are exhibited.  The panel includes:  Eric Beckman, George M. Bevier Professor of Engineering, and Co-Director, Mascaro Center for Sustainable Innovation at the University of Pittsburgh;  Carrie Hahn, activist and mother; Doug Shields, former Pittsburgh City councilman; Terry Collins, Teresa Heinz Professor for Green Chemistry, recipient of the 2010 Heinz Award, and a senior member of CMU’s Institute for Green Science.  Moderated by Steve Sokol, President and CEO of World Affairs Council of Pittsburgh.

Artists' talk, November 7, 2012, 6-8 p.m.  Meet photographers Noah Addis and Scott Goldsmith and hear them discuss their involvement in the Marcellus Shale Documentary Project. Event begins at six o'clock in the Filmmakers Galleries.
